Graduate 2019

When deciding what college I wanted to go to at the age of 18, I was in very mixed minds on whether being at a smaller college would supply me with the same or similar opportunities a larger /more well known would. I was proven wrong within the first couple of months of training at MEPA college and knew I had made the right decision in choosing to go there. The opportunities I was given was endless and so memorable, and I know now I wouldn’t have got them anywhere else. I think that you are taught to embrace who you are whilst holding yourself in a professional manor which will get you far in the industry. The teachers on offer are unbelievable and have played an immense part in making me into the performer I am 3 years down the line. I believe I would have been swallowed up at a bigger college and known as just a number, whereas here it felt like one on one training with some of the best. MEPA taught me that professionalism, hard work and dedication would get you far, as proven by securing an amazing agent at the end of my training. Mandy has created an amazing environment in which you can learn at ease whilst not feeling judged in anyway; as well as ensuring that everyone has the chance to be shown and highlighted. I am so grateful and proud to have been part of such a special college and will always appreciate the time that the principle, Mandy, and the rest of the teaching faculty gave to me. Whilst in my final year of training at college, I appeared in the ‘ Major baseball league internet advert’ featuring Jimmy Carr. I am now waiting to start my first professional contract as a professional dancer in the Hazlitt’s pantomime of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ commencing in November this year.
